Debra Rodriguez has been practicing immigration law exclusively for more than 16 years and is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is a named partner in Rodriguez & Moretzsohn, P.L.L.C. She is a former President of the Corpus Christi Bar Association as well as the Costal end Women's Lawyers Association.
Heather "Erika" Moretzsohn de Castro has focused on the field of Immigration Law. Born in Saipan and raised in Hawaii, she has had a variety of international experiences. She has lived and traveled extensively in Europe, Japan, Asia and Latin America. She was a former Fulbright Scholar to Japan, Internantional Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to Austria, and has worked at the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C., and Scio Paolo, Brazil. Heather has been the President of the Corpus Christi Sister City Committee where she set up a new Sister City between Corpus Christi, Texas and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. She is currently a partner in the law firm of Rodriguez & Moretzsohn, PLLC which focuses on Immigration Law.

William Henry Humble III has devoted his entire legal career since 2002 almost exclusively to immigration work representing clients nationally from coast to coast as well as internationally. He has worked closely with firms in Boston, New York City, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. We are happy his family ties in Corpus Christi have brought his valuable experience to us. He is a member of the California State Bar and licensed in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and U.S. District Court for both the Northern District and the Southern District of Texas. He is a graduate of Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy, Fresno, California. Will is also fluent in Spanish.
Maria Pia Prebisch is licensed in Texas and also a newly minted lawyer. Maria Pia graduated from South Texas College of Law and was busy handling deportation hearings. She now focus on employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visa cases. She was born and raised in Argentina, then, as a teenager, was a derivative of a non-immigrant treaty investor visa when she and her family came to Texas. Recently she worked on her own immigrant visa and adjustment of status case. Maria Pia is a native speaker of Spanish.
Carolyn Chavez Thompson was the Director and Managing
Attorney for Immigration and Refugee Services at Catholic Charities of Corpus
Christi, Inc. She is admitted to practice in the states of Texas and Missouri. She has been a frequent presenter on issues
relating to immigration policy and reform. Mrs. Thompson received a BA with
honors from Iowa State University and a JD from the University of
Cincinnati-College of Law. Prior to law school, Mrs. Thompson was a volunteer
with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working as a tenant rights counselor/community
organizer in San Francisco, California. While in law school, she was a founding
member and student director of the College of Law’s Immigrant Community Legal
Advocacy Project. Mrs. Thompson also served as a prosecuting attorney for both
Greene County, Missouri, and the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, and a judicial
clerk for the Missouri Court of Appeals. She is fluent in Spanish.
